Every year from October to Memorial Day, you can beach comb for hand-crafted glass floats placed along the seven miles of public beach in Lincoln City. Select glassblowers on the coast create special handcrafted, signed and numbered glass floats. These floats are secretly placed on Lincoln City beaches daily from October 18th through Memorial Day weekend from the Roads End area to the Cutler City area for the Finders keepers festival. If you are lucky, you can go home with an exquisite glass float. This fun event is ideal for the whole family. All age groups can take part and enjoy the Finders keepers festival. You can register your float when you find it by calling the Visitor Center, 1-800-452-2151 or 541-996-1274. You will be given a Certificate of Authenticity and information about the artists who crafted your float.
